Caldera Creta Paradise, Gerani Crete

I just returned from the season opening at the Atlantica Caldera Creta Paradise resort, The resort is about 1/2 an hour from Chania airport in the town of Gerani in Crete, this beach front resort is built next door to Caldera Beach resort, Caldera hotels have two resorts in Gerani, together they have everything you need to get away from the rat race, Caldera Crete Paradise is specially designed for family's and children without forgetting the adults.

Red bottle brush at the front of the resort welcomes new arrivals, Creta Paradise features some great swim up rooms, very comfortable you really have to drag yourself to the newly renovated buffé.    

This must be what every kitchen needs an old fashion icon, I wonder if he works better than the modern TV icons us chefs seek guidance from today. He hangs on the wall in the kitchen and looks like he'd taken a tumble or two over the years, "haven't we all" but hes still fighting on.

What a job to see these different kitchen environments, how they work and meet the dedicated chefs driving these diverse kitchen operations, we always take all the help we can get.
